New search option coming to Megaleads!

We are always looking for ways to improve our system, and recently we have seen that the search options available to our clients have been a limiting factor in their ability to find what they are looking for. We decided that adding in an “Executive Title” option will allow for a much better experience. How we were doing Saas before Saas was Saas.

I just started to understand the word “Saas”  in late 2013 by a colleague and mentor that I work with named Mark Valles of  Mark is at the top of his game and has played huge role helping my business both online and offline. His tired less efforts have helped me grow my business exponentially.

Let’s take a look at the definition of Saas and see what that really means.  I grabbed this definition from wiki, here’s the reference;

Software as a service (SaaS; pronounced /sæs/ or /sɑːs/[1]) is a software licensing and delivery model in which software is licensed on a subscription basis and is centrally hosted.[2][3] It is sometimes referred to as “on-demand software”.[4] SaaS is typically accessed by users using a     thin client via a web browser. SaaS has become a common delivery model for many business     applications, including office & messaging software, payroll processing software, DBMS     software, management software, CAD software, development software, gamification,     virtualization,[4] accounting, collaboration, customer relationship management (CRM),     management information systems (MIS), enterprise resource planning (ERP), invoicing, human     resource management (HRM), content management (CM) and service desk management.[5]     SaaS has been incorporated into the strategy of all leading enterprise software companies.     One of the biggest selling points for these companies is the potential to reduce IT support costs by outsourcing hardware and software maintenance and support to the SaaS provider.

The term “software as a service” (SaaS) is considered to be part of the nomenclature of cloud computing, along with infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), desktop as a service (DaaS), backend as a service (BaaS), and information technology management as a service (ITMaaS).[8]


When my company first launched its search widget back in early 2005 we had no idea we were doing Saas. (I don’t think the word even existed).  Our big idea was to provide users the ability to ascertain email list counts by state, zip, radius to zip, gender, dob, types of businesses etc.  The tool was a big success and the Saas tool we created revolutionized the industry by providing marketing and media companies the list counts they needed for their client accounts quickly and on-demand.  Before this time if you wanted to buy full record business or consumer leads (sales leads) you had to contact a broker and he/she would have to work with a technical resource to get the client list counts.  Our search widget put an end to all this and we grew very quickly during the real estate boom.

Our search tool did more than help our clients profit, it gave our users something to play with on the website and was and is very engaging.  Users / visitors spend an average of 7 1/2 minutes per session on an average.  This boosted our SEO and because our tool was so innovative and super-simple to use, prospects and clients genuinely liked using it and recommending us to others.
